With BLACKPINK’s third Tokyo Dome concert just weeks away, cities in Japan are already celebrating the group’s return with large-scale welcome events. 

In Kobe, the starting point of the nationwide campaign, the iconic Port Tower and surrounding district have been transformed into a full “BLACKPINK Spot.” The area glows in signature pink lighting, and visitors can find BLACKPINK-themed visuals woven throughout the city. Interactive experiences and onsite fan attractions are also drawing heavy foot traffic. 

At the tower’s 5th-floor rooftop observatory, a photospot installation features a continuous sequence of BLACKPINK visuals. Guests can walk the full loop while filming to create a film-strip style video, designed specifically for fan content creation. Additional attractions — including a world tour photo exhibition and a café offering limited-edition menu items inspired by BLACKPINK’s color palette — have been packed with fans since opening day. 

The Tokyo Dome shows, scheduled for January 2026, mark BLACKPINK’s third appearance at the venue following concerts in 2019 and 2023. It is their first standalone performance in Japan in nearly three years, fueling intense excitement among local fans. 

Ahead of the concerts, a relay of BLACKPINK pop-up stores has been taking place since July across major department stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya, while Japan’s largest lifestyle retailer LOFT is hosting pop-ups in nine locations nationwide. Despite the long operation period, the events continue to draw steady crowds, proving BLACKPINK’s enduring popularity. 

BLACKPINK is currently in the middle of their massive “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>,” spanning 33 shows across 16 cities. After successfully completing North American and European stops, the group is now connecting with fans throughout Asia.
