Global K-pop supergroup BTS marked their 12th debut anniversary on June 13, launching the highly anticipated "BTS Festa 2025" alongside member J-Hope's solo concert appearances.

BTS, who debuted on June 13, 2013, celebrated their milestone anniversary with the annual "BTS Festa," a tradition that began in 2014 to commemorate their debut date. The festival, running for approximately two weeks each year, has become the most significant annual event for ARMY, the group's dedicated fanbase.

Expanded BTS Festa 2025

This year's festa promises to be bigger than ever, featuring significantly expanded scale and diverse content compared to previous years. The highlight of the celebration takes place on June 13-14 at KINTEX Halls in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The offline event venue showcases several themed zones designed to immerse fans in the BTS experience:

  • Photo Zone: Features a giant ARMY Bomb with synchronized lighting shows as the centerpiece
  • Voice Zone: Allows fans to listen to personal voice messages from BTS members
  • Trophy Zone: Displays achievements and milestones accomplished together by BTS and ARMY
  • BTS Locker: Exhibits personal items and treasured belongings of the artists

According to Big Hit Music, the agency has "significantly expanded the scale across various aspects including space, content, and operations compared to the previous year to enhance visitor convenience."

J-Hope Takes Center Stage

The anniversary celebration's highlight features J-Hope's new music release and concert performances. On June 13 at 1 PM, J-Hope released his digital single "Killin' It Girl" featuring GloRilla, marking the final track of his solo single project.

"I've prepared very powerful music and performances, and I hope ARMY will enjoy it," J-Hope shared through his agency. He expressed gratitude to fans, adding, "It's thanks to ARMY, who always believed in and supported me, that I was able to continue this solo single project. Thank you."

J-Hope will meet fans through his world tour encore concerts held at Goyang Main Stadium on June 13-14, providing a special experience for ARMY during this milestone celebration.

Anticipating Full Group Reunion

While this year's festa cannot feature the complete group due to military service obligations, fans eagerly await the full reunion. Members RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook recently completed their military service, being discharged on June 10 and 11 respectively. Jin and J-Hope, who completed their service last year, have been actively pursuing their careers.

Suga, currently serving as a social service worker in alternative military service, is scheduled to complete his service on June 21, marking the final step toward BTS's complete reunion. The absence of a full group performance makes J-Hope's solo concert the most anticipated event for ARMY at this year's festa, serving as a bridge until the septet can reunite completely.

Looking Forward

As BTS approaches their complete reunion following all members' military service completion, the 2025 festa represents both a celebration of their incredible 12-year journey and anticipation for their upcoming return as a full group. The expanded scale and enhanced content of this year's celebration reflect the enduring bond between BTS and ARMY, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting new chapter in the group's legendary career.
