This response came following media reports suggesting the group plans to release new music in early July. 

The speculation gained momentum after earlier reports indicated that BLACKPINK had begun filming a music video for their new song on June 6. Additionally, YG's Chief Producer Yang Hyun-seok had previously hinted at the possibility through his official blog, stating that he expected to be able to share news about BLACKPINK's new music release.

If confirmed, this would mark BLACKPINK's first group release in nearly three years. Their last full-group album was the second studio album "BORN PINK," released in September 2022. The potential July release would represent approximately two years and 10 months since their last collective musical offering.
