The soundtrack from Netflix's "K-Pop Demon Hunters" has taken the global music charts by storm, with its lead track achieving unprecedented success on major streaming platforms. 

"Your Idol" Reaches #1 on Spotify US Charts 

"Your Idol," the OST from "K-Pop Demon Hunters," claimed the #1 spot on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs" US chart on July 4th (local time). This achievement places the track among an elite group of K-pop songs to reach the summit of this prestigious chart. 

Only three other K-pop tracks from domestic groups have previously achieved #1 on this chart: BTS member Jungkook's "Seven," Jimin's "Who," and BLACKPINK's Rosé's "APT." 

Multiple OST Tracks Chart Simultaneously 

The success extends beyond the lead single, with several other tracks from the soundtrack also performing strongly. Huntrix's "Golden" closely followed at #2, while "How It's Done" secured the #8 position and "Soda Pop" landed at #10 on the same chart.

"K-Pop Demon Hunters" is a musical animation series centered around K-pop themes. The storyline follows popular girl group Huntrix as they protect the human world from evil spirits while pursuing their music careers.

The series features a competitive dynamic between Huntrix and Lion Boyz, a boy group originating from the demon world. This rivalry extends beyond the animation, with both fictional groups competing intensely for chart positions in the real world. 

Star-Studded Production Team 

The OST production brought together top-tier talent, with producer Teddy leading a team of The Black Label composers including Kush, Vince, ido, and Danny Chung. Notably, Danny Chung also voiced the character Baby from Lion Boyz in the series. 

Billboard Success and Global Recognition 

The "K-Pop Demon Hunters" OST album achieved significant commercial success, reaching #8 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Multiple tracks including "Your Idol" and "Golden" have also entered both the Hot 100 chart and the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, demonstrating the soundtrack's broad international appeal.
