K-pop group TWS is on a rising trajectory with notable achievements in Japan. According to Japan's Oricon on January 8th, TWS's Japanese debut single "Nice to see you again" (original title: はじめまして/Hajimemashite) topped the latest "Weekly Single Ranking" (dated July 14th / tracking period: June 30th - July 6th) with approximately 150,000 copies sold.

This marks TWS's second time reaching the summit of this chart, following their domestic single "Last Bell." Oricon stated, "This single achieved the highest first-week sales among overseas artists' releases this year. Furthermore, TWS became the first overseas artist to top the 'Weekly Single Ranking' in 2025."

The last time an overseas artist topped this chart was also TWS with their first single released last year, demonstrating how solidly the group has established itself in Japan.

TWS also proved their formidable popularity by topping Billboard Japan's latest "Top Single Sales" (dated July 9th / tracking period: June 30th - July 6th) with "Nice to see you again."

Since releasing their first Japanese single on July 2nd, TWS has been performing the new track on various terrestrial music programs and festivals. They have also opened debut commemoration pop-up stores and cafes, and collaborated with Japan's leading karaoke brand, continuing their enthusiastic "first meeting" with Japanese fans.

Local enthusiasm has been heating up in response to TWS's proactive activities. Every time they appeared on music programs, various TWS-related keywords trended on social media, and all available time slots for their reservation-based pop-up stores sold out early.

TWS will continue their momentum with their first Japanese tour. Starting with a Hiroshima performance on January 11th, they will hold "2025 TWS TOUR '24/7:WITH:US' IN JAPAN" across six cities including Aichi (13th-15th), Fukuoka (17th-18th), Miyagi (25th-26th), Osaka (28th-30th), and Kanagawa (August 9th-10th), meeting fans through a total of 13 shows.

The six-member group consists of Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin.
