Time Travel Concept and Storyline 

The music video follows NCT DREAM living in the distant future called "Absolute Present." The members embark on a time travel journey using hoverboards to visit the past, only to discover they have arrived in a world where NCT DREAM no longer exists. The story unfolds as they attempt to restore everything back to its original state. 

The narrative aligns with the song's central message, presenting time travel not as simple reminiscence but as an interconnected journey where past, present, and future form a unified world. The video ultimately conveys that the most brilliant version of oneself encompasses all accumulated moments throughout time. 

Official Collaboration with Back to the Future 

The production received official approval from Amblin Entertainment and Universal Studios, the production companies behind the iconic film "Back to the Future." This collaboration allowed the incorporation of symbolic elements from the movie, including lightning, warning lights, and buses, creating detailed references that enhance the time travel atmosphere and viewer immersion. 

The meticulous direction showcases how past and future influence each other through constant change, amplifying the fantasy mood. A particularly touching moment features the recreation of scenes from NCT DREAM's debut music video "Chewing Gum," including the dormitory setting and the members' early appearances, providing fans with nostalgia and emotional resonance.

"BTTF" is a hip-hop dance track built on signature synth bass with dynamic sound development that traverses past and future.
