Group Xikers is set to showcase their activities as a complete 10-member lineup for the first time in two years with Jeonghun's return.
On the 3rd, a showcase for Xikers's fifth mini-album 'HOUSE OF TRICKY: SPUR' was held at Ilchi Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. At the event, the members performed their title track 'BREATHE' and shared their thoughts on the comeback.
This new album comes approximately seven months after their last release and continues the 'HOUSE OF TRICKY' series that Xikers has been developing since their debut. It portrays the story of ten boys who, along with an entity called 'TRICKY,' explore unknown coordinates to discover their potential.
The title track 'BREATHE' showcases Xikers's intense charisma as they take precise aim at their target despite harsh conditions. Members Minjae, Sumin, and Yechan directly participated in writing the lyrics, further enhancing the group's unique musical color and sensibility.
Minjae expressed, "This album is especially meaningful as it's our first comeback as a complete group in a while. All ten of us worked hard to prepare, so please look forward to it." Hyunwoo added, "We're so happy that Jeonghun has rejoined us, and we can't wait to present our performance."
Jeonghun, who returns after a two-year hiatus due to injury, shared, "During my break, I consistently focused on rehabilitation and prepared diligently with the support of many fans. I'm grateful for the warm welcome despite my long absence, and I look forward to showing our complete group chemistry."
Yechan described the mini-album as one that "reveals another side of ourselves," while Jinsik expressed his ambition: "We've worked hard to showcase a new concept and different image, and we hope many people will be drawn to Xikers."
Hunter explained the choreography highlight of 'BREATHE', saying, "Since the title track means 'breath,' there are many choreography points related to breathing. It'll be fun to spot which dance moves are connected to the breath concept." Minjae also reflected on the group's growth through their American and European tours last year: "We're grateful to have been able to tour internationally since our debut. We worried whether our intense energy would fully reach the audience, but seeing fans sing along even overseas gave us the energy and passion to prepare for this album."
Xikers's fifth mini-album 'HOUSE OF TRICKY: SPUR' will be released on the 4th at 1 PM through various music platforms.
