April and May are packed with highly anticipated comebacks from 5th-generation K-pop idol groups, exciting fans worldwide.
First up, FIFTY FIFTY returns on the 7th with their digital single Perfect Crime. This marks their first release in three months since their remix album Love Tune: Rewired in January. The group will showcase a chic, villainous transformation, donning sleek black suits for a bold new concept.
WHIB, who won the AAA Focus Award at the 9th Asia Artist Awards last year, will drop their fourth single album BANG OUT on the 9th. Known for assigning a "key color" to each album to convey their unique narrative, WHIB has chosen magenta this time to highlight their intense and distinctive charm. Their agency teased, "They’ve crafted a fresh visual identity," promising a dramatic transformation in the BANG OUT music video.
On the 14th, both NCT WISH and 82MAJOR will make simultaneous comebacks. NCT WISH is releasing their second mini-album poppop, featuring six vibrant tracks, including the title track of the same name. The upbeat dance-pop song boasts a catchy melody and refreshing energy, with lyrics co-written by hitmaker KENZIE for added depth.
Meanwhile, 82MAJOR will unveil their third mini-album SILENCE SYNDROME, their first release in six months since X-82. Their agency stated, "They’ve prepared even more polished music and performances this time." The album includes four tracks, including the title track TAKEOVER, as well as Youngwoonghogeul, Passport, and Promise You.
Finally, TWS, who scored three consecutive hits last year with Plot Twist, Oh Mymy: 7s, and First Hooky, returns on the 21st with their third mini-album TRY WITH US. The album carries the message, "Let’s try things we’ve never done before—together," capturing the fearless energy of twenty-year-olds diving into new experiences.
