ASTRO is set to unveil their third unit group featuring members MJ (Kim Myung-jun) and JinJin (Park Jin-woo), who will debut as a duo in August. 

Meet 'JuniGenie' 

The unit name "JuniGenie" combines the cute nicknames fans use for the members – "Juni" for MJ and "Genie" for JinJin. This playful name reflects the close bond between the two members and their fans. 

ASTRO's Unit History 

Since their 2016 debut, ASTRO has launched two previous units: 

Moonbin&Sanha - featuring the late Moonbin and Sanha 

JinJin&Rocky - pairing JinJin with Rocky

 Now, JuniGenie marks the group's third unit venture. 

A Powerful Combination 

The duo brings complementary strengths to the table:

• MJ: Main vocalist with powerful singing abilities 
• JinJin: Main rapper with dynamic performance skills

Both members have been expanding their artistic range through musical theater, adding another dimension to their upcoming unit activities:

Recent ASTRO Activities 

The group has remained active despite challenges: 

• Released memorial song "Moon" in April, featuring various K-pop artists, in honor of member Moonbin's 2nd anniversary 
• Successfully held their 4th solo concert "The 4th ASTROAD Stargraphy" in Incheon (June 7-8) 
• Performed in Fukuoka, Japan at PayPay Dome (June 28-29), with former member Rocky making a special appearance 

As ASTRO continues to evolve and explore new formats, JuniGenie represents an exciting new chapter for both the group and their devoted fanbase, AROHA.
