K-pop top-tier group BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé) is set to make their comeback soon. With their world tour already confirmed to begin in early July, industry observers anticipate a new album release in June.

According to TenAsia's report on the 9th, a full BLACKPINK comeback with a new album is highly likely in June. Currently, all four members are coordinating their schedules for album conceptualization, recording, and shooting. Multiple industry sources confirmed, "BLACKPINK members have begun adjusting their schedules for recording and shooting for the new album," adding that "the album will be released by June at the latest."

If BLACKPINK releases their new album in June, it will mark approximately 2 years and 9 months since their second full album 'BORN PINK,' which was released in September 2022.

With 'BORN PINK,' BLACKPINK conducted their 'BORN PINK' world tour from October 2022 to September 2023, spanning over a year. The tour covered 23 countries and set a record as the highest-grossing concert tour by a girl group in global history, earning $78 million (approximately 110 billion Korean won) just two months into the tour. The tour ultimately generated $330 million (480 billion Korean won) in revenue, ranking 6th in all-time concert earnings among female artists globally. Since the conclusion of their tour, the members have been focusing on solo activities. Last year, BLACKPINK renewed their group contract with YG Entertainment exclusively for team activities, excluding solo projects. Following this arrangement, each member established their own agencies and pursued individual careers.

Jennie partnered with her mother, Jisoo with her older brother, and Lisa with professional executives to establish their independent labels. Rosé signed an exclusive contract with The Black Label, headed by long-time collaborator Teddy, for her solo endeavors. In terms of solo success, Rosé currently leads the pack. Her pre-release single 'APT.' from her first full album 'rosie' became a global hit. Jisoo showcased her unique musical style with 'AMORTAGE,' while Jennie released 'Ruby.' Lisa, who has been consistently releasing new music, recently met fans with 'Alter Ego.'

BLACKPINK will kick off their 'BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR' on July 5-6 at Goyang Comprehensive Stadium's main arena. The upcoming Seoul concerts will feature significantly expanded venues compared to their previous 'BORN PINK' tour, allowing them to meet more domestic fans.
