Boy group KICK FLIP (Gyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, K.Ju, Donghyun) will make their comeback to the music scene with a new album in late May. 

This will mark KICK FLIP's return just four months after their January debut album "Flip it, Kick it!" The group has decided on a rapid comeback with the determination to expand their position as a 5th generation rookie group and solidify their reputation as "K-pop super rookies." According to industry sources, they have already completed filming their music video and are investing significant effort to ensure high quality for their first comeback. 

KICK FLIP debuted as JYP Entertainment's first new boy group in seven years since Stray Kids, drawing intense interest from K-pop fans worldwide. Their title track "Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)" earned praise for its powerful performance and energetic live stages that belied their rookie status, further raising expectations for the group's future. Evidence of their strong start includes winning two awards at their first music awards show appearance just 33 days after debut. Their debut album achieved impressive sales numbers, reaching 322,000 copies in first-week shipments according to Circle Chart and topping both the Weekly Album Chart and Weekly Retail Album Chart (January 19-25, 2025). The album recorded first-week sales of 276,881 copies on Hanteo Chart, earning them an official certification plaque. 

Riding this momentum, KICK FLIP has confirmed their appearance at the music festival "Lollapalooza Chicago" on August 2 (local time) at Grand Park in Illinois.
