BTS's Jungkook has achieved yet another remarkable milestone in Japan, adding a new "Platinum certification" to his accolades. As reported on the 27th by the Japan Record Association, his solo single "Seven (feat. Latto) - Explicit Ver." has surpassed 100 million streams as of August, earning it Platinum status in the streaming category. This follows the Platinum certification of the song's "Clean Ver." back in January.
With this accomplishment, Jungkook has now secured three Platinum certifications in the streaming category, which include both versions of "Seven" and his solo track "Euphoria" from the repackage album "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer.'"
Additionally, other tracks from BTS have also received recognition: the unit song "Dimple," featuring the vocal line (Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook), and "Dionysus" from the mini-album "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" have both achieved Gold certification in streaming. Overall, BTS holds a remarkable total of 44 Gold certifications, further solidifying their status as the international artist with the most titles in this category.
The Japan Record Association categorizes its certifications based on cumulative streaming numbers, designating Gold (over 50 million), Platinum (over 100 million), and Diamond (over 500 million) statuses, which are awarded monthly.
