K-pop powerhouse SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) has announced plans for their upcoming comeback coinciding with their 10th debut anniversary. On the 21st, the group shared a video on their official social media accounts detailing their major plans for the year.

According to the announcement, SEVENTEEN will release their fifth full-length album "HAPPY BURSTDAY" on May 26th. The group also teased upcoming tours, new unit single albums, and fresh content. This marks SEVENTEEN's first full album in approximately three years since "Face the Sun" was released in 2022. According to their agency Pledis Entertainment, the album title "HAPPY BURSTDAY" combines the English words "Birthday" and "Burst," symbolizing the group's determination to be "reborn" as a new version of SEVENTEEN.

The new album's release date holds special significance as it coincides with the group's 10th debut anniversary. Since debuting on May 26, 2015, SEVENTEEN has continuously challenged themselves and expanded their reach while maintaining their prime. The group has established themselves as "Super IDOLs" by embodying qualities expected of K-pop artists: passion to reach a global audience, fearless spirit for change, powerful teamwork, and deep bonds with fans. The group's promotional approach has also captured attention. Following their fan meeting in March, SEVENTEEN displayed the message "2025. 05. 26. HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on an electronic display board. They subsequently released a video featuring a charred invitation on social media, piquing fans' curiosity. In today's video, this invitation unfolds to reveal SEVENTEEN's upcoming schedule.

"SEVENTEEN will meet CARATS (their official fandom) worldwide through various content and performances this year, including their fifth full-length album as they celebrate their 10th anniversary," Pledis Entertainment stated. "We ask for your continued interest and support for their upcoming activities."

The group is also preparing for Japanese fan meetings. Members will hold their fan meeting "HOLIDAY" at Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 24th and 26-27th, followed by performances at Saitama Super Arena on May 10-11th.
