TikTok announced on May 7 that it will host pre-release events for global users ahead of BTS member Jin's second mini-album "Echo."

The global short-form video platform launched a "mini arcade" concept campaign page on May 2, offering a Spotify pre-save function for Jin's new song along with mini-games themed around the album.

This pre-release event goes beyond simple album promotion, designed to actively involve TikTok users in Jin's comeback journey and allow them to experience the album in innovative ways. The initiative aims to heighten anticipation among global K-pop fans while strengthening communication between the artist and his supporters.

Special benefits have been prepared exclusively for Korean TikTok users. Until May 11, users who post photos or videos on TikTok using the official campaign hashtag '#Jin_Echo' and Jin's official sound, then pre-save Jin's new album on TikTok and submit the relevant link and pre-save screenshot through a dedicated application form, will be entered into a drawing. Fifty-five winners will be selected to attend Jin's album release event in Seongsu on May 17.

Jin released his solo album "Happy" in November last year, which reached number 4 on Billboard's main album chart "Billboard 200," demonstrating his consistent global influence. Currently, content with the hashtag '#Jin' on TikTok exceeds 1,380 posts, reflecting worldwide interest in the artist. "This pre-release event is a valuable opportunity for TikTok users who have been waiting for Jin's comeback to enjoy the countdown together," said Juyoung Park, TikTok Korea's Artist & Label Partnership Manager. "TikTok will continue to expand its role as a platform connecting K-pop with the global community through new content that artists and audiences can enjoy together."

TikTok plans to release exclusive content through global campaigns and vertical real-time livestreams timed with the album release on May 16, rolling out various programs to celebrate Jin's comeback.
