On May 9th, Samuel released his new single 'ROCKSTAR' through various online music platforms. This hip-hop track marks his return to the Korean music scene after approximately a year and signals the resumption of his domestic activities. 

The new single 'ROCKSTAR' is a hip-hop track brimming with passion, spirit, and confidence, as suggested by its title. The song conveys the message that "you are the most brilliant existence in the world" with lyrics encouraging listeners to "live each day meaningfully and enjoyably," and "overcome difficult moments by enjoying everything you do, never giving up and running to the finish line." Notably, Samuel personally participated in writing both the lyrics and music for this release, showcasing his enhanced musical capabilities. Last year, Samuel released the single 'NOW,' which he fully composed and wrote, earning recognition not only for his abilities as a singer-songwriter but also as a producer. Through this work, he received positive responses both domestically and internationally, including in China, demonstrating his growth as a global artist.
