ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) unveiled their concept cinema for their upcoming 6th mini album "DESIRE: UNLEASH" at midnight on May 12th through HYBE Labels' YouTube channel. 

The concept cinema is ENHYPEN's exclusive content series that visually represents the themes of their albums. Since their second studio album "ROMANCE: UNTOLD" released last year, ENHYPEN has collaborated with film directors to create short films that demonstrate their solid album narrative and distinct team identity. This concept cinema explores "Desire," which is also the title of their upcoming mini album. As a total lunar eclipse begins and darkness envelops the city, vampires start to awaken. One vampire appears on a TV show, revealing his existence to the world while discussing the nature of desire. This talk show, inspired by the film "Interview with the Vampire," serves as a crucial element driving the narrative. 

The film highlights various characters in the face of desire: those who express it, those who become tainted by it, and those who try to suppress it. Heeseung and Ni-ki, Jay and Jake each portray both internal and external aspects in dual roles, adding depth to their characters. Their synchronized expressions, like a decalcomania effect, enhance the mysterious mood of the film. The mature visuals and emotional range of all seven members are equally impressive. Their cold gazes and expressions, fitting the eerie atmosphere, heighten the tension and captivate viewers. The carefully placed mise-en-scène throughout the video adds artistic depth and maximizes visual beauty. Prior to releasing the concept cinema, ENHYPEN held a "DESIRE Concept Cinema Premier Event" for their fans (ENGENEs) at Megabox COEX in Seoul's Gangnam district on May 11th. During the press conference, director Park Min-soo shared, "It was an exciting project to create a work utilizing vampires' desires and their human aspects," adding, "It was also appealing to direct a short film with longer pacing, different from typical K-pop content." 

ENHYPEN advised, "Every single scene holds meaning, so we would appreciate if you pay close attention to all details." They added, "After successfully completing Coachella, we wanted to show ENHYPEN through a high-quality album, and we believe this work does that well. Please look forward to our album release on June 5th." ENHYPEN's 6th mini album will be released worldwide simultaneously at 1 PM on June 5th.
