MONSTA X recently made appearances on two major Los Angeles morning shows, building excitement for their upcoming comeback while in the US for KCON LA 2025.

Emotional KCON Return 

On KCAL News, MONSTA X expressed their feelings about returning to KCON after 9 years. "It feels special to be on the KCON stage after such a long time," they shared, showing their excitement for the group performance. 

The members also mentioned I.M, who couldn't attend due to health reasons. "Our maknae I.M couldn't join us, but he's recovering well and sent us supportive messages," they said, highlighting their strong bond. 

Teasing New Music 

During the interviews, MONSTA X discussed their digital album "NOW PROJECT vol.1" released on their 10th anniversary in May, which included Shownu's voice. They built anticipation saying, "We're coming back with amazing music on September 1, so please look forward to it!" 

On KTLA 5 Morning News, they introduced their upcoming mini album "THE X," describing it as "an album that chronicles MONSTA X's 10-year journey while signaling a new beginning. It has a fresh style, and we're curious about fans' reactions." 

Heartwarming Moment 

The KCAL News interview ended on a warm note when the local anchor said "thank you" in Korean, prompting MONSTA X to compliment their fluent pronunciation. 

What's Next 

Fresh off their successful 10th anniversary concert "2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X" at Seoul's KSPO DOME, the group is set to perform at KCON LA 2025 on August 2 (local time). Having steadily built their presence in the US market since debut, they're ready to make another powerful impression. 

MONSTA X is currently in final preparations for their mini album "THE X," dropping September 1.
