(G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) will release their first Japanese EP "i-dle" on October 3, marking their comeback to Japan after 5 years and their first release since rebranding. 


Album Details 

The self-titled EP features: 

  • Title track "どうしよっかな" (What Should I Do) 
  • 2 additional new songs 
  • Japanese versions of "Queencard" and "Fate" 
  • Total: 5 tracks 

Leader Soyeon personally wrote and composed the title track, promising (G)I-DLE's signature style. The album will be available in 3 versions, including a limited edition. 


First Japan Tour 

Alongside the album release, (G)I-DLE launches their first Japan tour: 

  • October 4: Saitama Super Arena 
  • October 18-19: Glion Arena Kobe 

The group will also hold fan signing events and various promotional activities in Tokyo and Osaka. 


Growing Japanese Presence 

(G)I-DLE's popularity in Japan is already evident: 

  • Surprise appearance on TBS's "LOVE it!" in March trended on SNS 
  • Praised performance on NHK's "Venue 101" last month 
  • Set to perform at Japan's biggest music festival "SUMMER SONIC 2025" on August 16-17

Using their group name as the album title symbolizes (G)I-DLE's fresh start in Japan. With Soyeon's production skills and the group's proven appeal, this EP marks an exciting new chapter for (G)I-DLE's Japanese activities after their rebranding. 


Five years was worth the wait – (G)I-DLE is ready to conquer Japan once again!
