Red Velvet’s Seulgi (under SM Entertainment) is set to unveil a diverse range of charms with her new mini album.
Seulgi’s second mini album, ‘Accidentally On Purpose’, will be released on March 10 at 6 PM (KST) on various music platforms. It features six tracks, including the title song ‘Baby, Not Baby’.
The new track ‘Better Dayz’ is an alternative pop song with an intriguing, ever-changing structure. The lyrics portray guiding someone to escape reality and enter a dream world while exploring the paradox of hope. Seulgi’s restrained vocals, delivered in a murmuring tone, enhance the song’s mysterious atmosphere.
Another track, ‘Weakness’, which Seulgi participated in writing, is a love song featuring a soft melody and warm EP sounds. The lyrics convey the vulnerability and clumsiness that come with realizing one’s feelings of love too late. Seulgi’s sweet and delicate vocals heighten the song’s emotional depth.
Having previously contributed lyrics to ‘Dead Man Runnin’ from her first solo album, Seulgi once again showcases her growth as a lyricist with ‘Weakness’, offering a broader musical spectrum.
Meanwhile, at midnight on March 3, teaser images and a highlight clip of ‘Weakness’ were released via Red Velvet’s official social media accounts. In the teasers, Seulgi captivates fans with her pink hair and unique styling, further raising anticipation for her comeback.
