IU Dominates Charts with Third Remake Album "Flower Bookmark 3" Singer IU has launched a chart takeover with her third remake album "Flower Bookmark 3." IU released all tracks from "Flower Bookmark 3" on various music streaming platforms at 6 PM on the 27th. The remake album features six tracks: the title song "Never Ending Story" originally by band Revival, "Red Sneakers" originally by Park Hye-kyung, "October 4th" originally by Seo Taiji, "Last Scene" (feat. Wonstein) originally by Roller Coaster, "Beauty" (feat. Balming Tiger) originally by Shin Joong-hyun and Yupjeon, and "Square Dream" originally by White. 

Spanning from 1970s hits to iconic songs that shook the 2000s, IU selected tracks that transcend generations and reinterpreted them in her distinctive style. "Never Ending Story" was arranged by composer Seo Dong-hwan, who has previously collaborated with IU, adding a dreamy atmosphere. "Red Sneakers," arranged by singer Lee Jin-ah, was reborn as a bright version. Singer Gureum's arrangement of "October 4th" added lyricism, while "Last Scene" gained special meaning with guitar performance by Lee Sang-soon, who participated in the original track. "Beauty," arranged by trending crew Balming Tiger, was transformed with unique sounds, while "Square Dream" impresses with its bouncy sound. 

IU also evoked nostalgia through "collect call" marketing, and the music video for title track "Never Ending Story" paid homage to the film "Christmas in August," capturing the essence of youth from that era. As IU's distinctive color was added to these nostalgic classic hits, the songs gained renewed attention from the public. This interest was reflected in the charts. IU's "Never Ending Story" dominated by reaching No. 1 on Melon Hot 100 (as of 9 AM on the 28th), Bugs real-time chart, Genie Music real-time chart, and Vibe's domestic rising chart. This represents a significant achievement accomplished in less than 24 hours after release. 

The album tracks are also proving popular. "Square Dream," perfect for the current season, ranked No. 3 on Melon Hot 100, No. 2 on Bugs real-time, and No. 5 on Genie Music real-time. "Red Sneakers" achieved No. 5 on Melon Hot 100, No. 3 on Bugs real-time, and No. 4 on Genie Music real-time. "October 4th" secured No. 7 on Melon Hot 100, No. 4 on Bugs real-time, and No. 8 on Genie Music real-time, while "Last Scene" reached No. 8 on Melon Hot 100, No. 5 on Bugs real-time, and No. 9 on Genie Music real-time. "Beauty" also performed well with No. 12 on Melon Hot 100, No. 6 on Bugs real-time, and No. 18 on Genie Music real-time, placing all tracks in the upper ranks of major music charts. IU, who received tremendous love with "Flower Bookmark" in 2014 and "Flower Bookmark 2" in 2017, has successfully stirred listeners' nostalgia once again with this year's "Flower Bookmark 3." The "Flower Bookmark 3" phenomenon is expected to continue dominating music charts for the foreseeable future.
