BOYNEXTDOOR continues to demonstrate impressive momentum in the global music market with their latest release making significant chart impacts worldwide. According to the latest Billboard charts (dated June 7) released by the American music publication on June 3 (local time), the group's fourth mini album "No Genre" secured multiple chart positions for the second consecutive week.
Billboard Chart Success
"No Genre" claimed the 7th position on both "Top Album Sales" and "Top Current Album Sales" charts, while ranking 4th on the "World Albums" chart. The six-member group also maintained their presence on charts highlighting emerging global talent, placing 3rd on "Emerging Artists" and 69th on "Artist 100," demonstrating strong international fanbase support.
The album's success extends to Billboard's main album chart, with "No Genre" entering the "Billboard 200" (dated May 31) at 62nd position, marking BOYNEXTDOOR's fourth consecutive album to chart on the prestigious ranking.
Record-Breaking Sales Performance
BOYNEXTDOOR achieved remarkable commercial success with "No Genre," recording first-week sales of 1,166,419 copies according to Hanteo Chart, securing their second consecutive million-seller status. This figure represents approximately 1.5 times the first-week sales of their previous release, third mini album "19.99," which sold 759,156 copies in its debut week. The group's success spans multiple markets, with "No Genre" topping Japan's Oricon "Weekly Album Ranking" and "Weekly Combined Album Ranking" (counting period May 12-18), achieving their third consecutive double crown on Oricon's weekly charts.
Upcoming Tour Dates
BOYNEXTDOOR will continue their global presence with upcoming tour performances. The group is scheduled to hold "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' ENCORE IN JAPAN" at Tokyo's Musashino Forest Sport Plaza Main Arena from June 28-30. The tour will conclude with finale performances at Seoul's KSPO Dome from July 25-27, bringing their solo tour to a grand close.
