Four members of global K-pop sensation BTS are set to complete their mandatory military service this week, bringing the seven-member group closer to a full reunion. RM and V will be discharged on June 10th, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11th.

RM served with the 15th Infantry Division Military Band, while V was assigned to the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Task Force. Jimin and Jungkook, who enlisted together, served with the 5th Infantry Division.

The discharges follow those of Jin and J-Hope, who completed their service last year and have since been active in solo projects. SUGA is scheduled for discharge on June 21st, which will mark the complete reunion of all seven members. According to BigHit Music, BTS's agency, the members began their military service in December 2023. With the group's full reunion approaching, industry observers expect BTS to begin preparations for their comeback in earnest.

"There will be no official events on the discharge dates," BigHit Music stated. "Given the limited space at each location and concerns about safety incidents due to crowds, we earnestly request that fans refrain from visiting the sites, prioritizing the safety of both the artists and fans." The completion of military service removes the final obstacle to BTS resuming group activities, marking a significant milestone for both the band and their global fanbase.
