Five Major Publications Simultaneously Spotlight Korean Solo Artist for First Time 

Japan's five major sports newspapers have given extensive front-page coverage to BTS member Jin. Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports dedicated their front pages over two days (July 12-13) to report on Jin's fan concert tour. This marks the first time that five newspapers have simultaneously featured a Korean solo artist as their front-page headline story. 

Unprecedented Fan Response and Media Attention 

During the July 12-13 fan concert tour "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN" at Kyocera Dome Osaka, fans flocked to nearby convenience stores seeking special edition newspapers. Some stores experienced early sellouts due to overwhelming demand from enthusiastic fans. 

Local media described the concerts as festivals created together by the artist and fans, showcasing the deep bond between Jin and ARMY (the fandom name). Coverage focused on Jin's development as a solo artist, featuring tour behind-the-scenes content alongside the production process of his second mini-album "Echo," released in May. 

Sold-Out Success Across Japan 

Jin successfully concluded his Japanese fan concert tour amid tremendous attention. The tour consisted of four shows across Chiba and Osaka, with all performances achieving complete sellout status. Jin drew approximately 130,000 audience members in Japan alone. 

During the Osaka performance, Jin expressed his gratitude, saying, "I exist because ARMY exists. Thank you for enjoying this together as one." 

Global Tour Continues

Jin began his fan concert tour "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR" with performances in Goyang in June. He will open his North American fan concert tour on July 17-18 at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The tour will subsequently visit Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London in the UK, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where he will meet with audiences worldwide. This unprecedented media coverage and fan response in Japan demonstrates Jin's growing influence as a solo artist and the continued global reach of BTS members' individual careers.
