BTS’s V has captured hearts worldwide with his first winter gift, the digital single Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin).

According to Billboard’s latest chart update (dated December 14), released on December 10, the duet by V and Park Hyo Shin debuted at No. 99 on the Hot 100. This marks the first time a jazz duet by a K-pop artist has entered the Hot 100.

With this achievement, V now has five solo tracks that have entered the Hot 100, two of which were released this year. His earlier digital single FRI(END)S reached No. 65 on the chart in March.

Winter Ahead also excelled on holiday charts, ranking No. 1 on the Holiday Digital Song Sales and No. 62 on the Holiday Top 100. Additionally, it placed No. 14 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 33 on the Global 200. On the Digital Song Sales chart, it claimed the top spot, a notable achievement during the holiday season, where new songs often struggle to gain attention.
