SEVENTEEN's special unit BSS (Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi) has launched a heartfelt celebration of youth with the release of their second single album, "TELEPARTY," at 6 PM on January 8. The album, including the title track "Fighting Youth" and its music video, delivers messages of encouragement and support to modern individuals weary of their daily routines.

Reviving Youth Through the Song "Fighting Youth"

The title track "Fighting Youth" blends swing jazz and country sounds with BSS's signature flair. The song’s title, an abbreviation of the Korean phrase meaning "Youth is Now," conveys the uplifting message that anyone can be youthful as long as they are happy in the present. Its infectious melody, paired with BSS's vibrant energy, makes it irresistible for repeat plays. The music video captures scenes of everyday struggles—hectic offices, exhausting classrooms, and scolding-filled living rooms. BSS enters these spaces as "happiness makers," distributing jeans as a symbol of youth and turning the mood around. The video’s clever parodies and energetic performances add to its charm, ensuring endless entertainment.

"TELEPARTY" Brings Comfort and Joy in Three Tracks

The album features three tracks, including "Fighting Youth," the New Jack Swing-inspired "Happy Alone," and the nostalgic R&B tune "Love Song." SEVENTEEN’s renowned hitmakers Woozi and Bumzu participated in writing and composing all the tracks, with the BSS members also contributing to the lyrics.

Star-Studded Cameos in the Music Video

The "Fighting Youth" music video showcases an impressive lineup of cameo appearances. Singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa, who helped SEVENTEEN win their first grand prize at the 2023 MAMA Awards, shares a memorable moment with BSS. Actors Jung Young-joo and Kal So-won portray a mother and daughter squabbling over jeans, offering relatable humor. Additionally, actor Moon Sang-hoon adds to the fun by reprising his popular "Teacher Moon" character from the YouTube channel "Ppanderners." With "TELEPARTY," BSS delivers a vibrant boost of energy and reminds everyone that youth is a state of mind, offering a special gift of joy and positivity to those navigating life’s challenges.
