NCT Mark, EXO Kai, and NCT WISH to Join April Comeback Battle – Intense Competition Within SM Entertainment

Previously, Mark released two digital singles – ‘200’ in May 2023 and ‘FRAKK’ featuring Lee Young Ji in December 2023 – building anticipation for his official solo career. As a member of five groups under SM Entertainment (NCT, NCT U, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and SuperM), Mark is recognized as one of SM's busiest artists, raising curiosity about the unique musical identity he will present as a soloist.

Alongside Mark, NCT WISH and EXO’s Kai are also gearing up for April comebacks. NCT WISH is preparing to release a new mini-album in mid-April, while Kai recently filmed a music video and is aiming to drop his fourth mini-album next month.

This sets the stage for fierce internal competition as the three SM artists will go head-to-head on music charts and broadcast shows. Fans are eager to see how each artist will showcase their distinct charms and concepts and what remarkable achievements they will accomplish in the April comeback battle.

Meanwhile, after completing his alternative military service in February, Kai is set to appear in Season 6 of the YouTube web variety show ‘Criminal Record’, which premieres on March 20.

NCT WISH recently won the Potential Award at the 9th Asia Artist Awards held in Bangkok last December, solidifying their position as rising stars.
