Global superstars SEVENTEEN celebrated their 10th anniversary in spectacular fashion, becoming the first K-pop artists to perform on Seoul's iconic Jamsu Bridge in a groundbreaking concert that drew tens of thousands of fans. 

Historic Performance Marks Milestone Anniversary

On May 25, SEVENTEEN held the "B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage @Jamsu Bridge" at Jamsu Bridge in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. The unprecedented performance marked a historic first for K-pop artists performing on the famous Han River bridge, setting a new standard for innovative concert venues. The BURST Stage concert served as a highlight of SEVENTEEN's offline anniversary event "B-DAY PARTY," which ran from May 23-25 around Seoul's Sebitseom area, creating lasting memories for fans throughout the three-day celebration. 

Massive Turnout Demonstrates Global Appeal 

Approximately 6,000 fans gained direct entry to the bridge concert venue, while additional audiences watched the performance via large LED screens installed throughout Han River Park. According to Seoul Metropolitan Government estimates, around 60,000 fans gathered in the area to witness this historic event, demonstrating SEVENTEEN's immense drawing power and cultural significance. 

New Title Track Opens Spectacular Show 

SEVENTEEN opened the show with "THUNDER," the title track from their upcoming fifth full-length album "HAPPY BURSTDAY," set for release on May 26. The powerful electronic sound was enhanced by fireworks and fountain shows, creating an intense opening that elicited thunderous cheers from CARATs (the group's fandom name). Following the opening performance, member Hoshi welcomed the audience: "It's been so long. Welcome everyone to SEVENTEEN's 10th anniversary B-DAY PARTY Stage." Mingyu shared his excitement about the unique venue: "When I heard we'd be performing on Jamsu Bridge, I imagined there might be yachts and sunsets, and it seems perfect in every way." 

Emotional Connection to Korean Heritage 

Seungkwan expressed the significance of the location: "As singers active in Korea, when I heard we'd be performing on the Han River and Jamsu Bridge, which represent Korea, it was the first time I felt this nervous and excited." This sentiment highlighted the cultural importance of the venue choice for the group's milestone celebration. 

Comprehensive Setlist Spans Career Highlights 

The group continued with "HBD," a track from their fifth album commemorating their 10th anniversary, alongside "HOT" from their fourth album, transforming the Han River into waves of CARAT cheers. The performance continued with "April Shower," "Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day," and "Headliner," with the bridge illuminated by spectacular lighting and fountain displays creating a breathtaking spectacle. 

After the "Headliner" performance, Hoshi commented, "It feels like we're at the best birthday party," while Seungkwan shared emotionally, "Hearing fans sing along to 'Headliner' makes me emotional." Hoshi then delivered a heartfelt message: "While we headline many festivals and stages, our true headliners are our CARATs," creating a warm atmosphere of mutual appreciation.

SEVENTEEN concluded the historic concert with performances of "I'm Looking for You Right Now," "Rock with You," "Let's Go Together," "God of Music," "Eyes on You," and "Very Nice," gifting fans who gathered at Jamsu Bridge another special memory to add to their shared 10-year journey.
